Terms and Conditions

1. Definitions

Client
The person, company, real estate agent or entity engaging STYLD Melbourne to provide property styling, staging, furniture hire or related services.

STYLD Melbourne
The property styling business operated by R&P Venture Group Pty Ltd (ABN 29 692 542 644).

Project
The property styling and staging services provided by STYLD Melbourne as outlined in the quotation.

Premises
The property at which the styling or staging services will be delivered.

2. Quotations & Acceptance

All quotations issued by STYLD Melbourne are valid for the period specified in the proposal unless otherwise stated.

Acceptance of a quotation occurs when the Client:​

  • confirms acceptance in writing

  • or pays the invoice issued by STYLD Melbourne.

Once accepted, the quotation forms part of the binding agreement between STYLD Melbourne and the Client.

3. Payment Terms

Full payment is required prior to installation.

No styling or installation will be scheduled or completed until the invoice has been paid in full.

Invoices are payable within 7 days of issue, unless otherwise specified.

Failure to pay by the due date may result in:

  • project delays

  • rescheduling of installation

  • cancellation of the booking.

All furniture and styling items supplied remain the property of STYLD Melbourne at all times.

4. Project Concept & Styling Approval

Prior to installation, STYLD Melbourne will provide a Project Concept Document or Styling Plan outlining the proposed styling direction, furniture selections and general design concept for the property.

The Client must review and approve the concept in writing before installation can proceed.

Once the concept is approved:

  • STYLD Melbourne will prepare the furniture and styling items required for the installation.

  • Any changes, substitutions or exchanges requested after approval or during installation may incur additional charges.

Additional charges may include:

  • transport costs

  • labour costs

  • additional hire fees

  • supplier costs

  • administration fees.

STYLD Melbourne reserves the right to decline change requests where operationally impractical.

5. Styling & Creative Direction

The Client acknowledges that STYLD Melbourne is engaged for its professional styling expertise.

Furniture selection, artwork, décor items and layout decisions remain at the discretion of STYLD Melbourne, provided they align with the approved styling concept and available inventory.

Where specific items become unavailable, STYLD Melbourne reserves the right to substitute similar items of equal style and value.

6. Installation & Property Readiness

The Client must ensure the Premises are ready for installation prior to the scheduled install date.

This includes ensuring that:

  • the property is vacant

  • cleaning has been completed

  • all building works are finished

  • the property is safe for installers

  • reasonable access is available.

If the property is not ready at the scheduled installation time, STYLD Melbourne reserves the right to:

  • reschedule the installation

  • charge additional labour

  • charge additional transport or storage fees.

Additional charges may also apply for installations involving:

  • stairs

  • restricted access

  • long carry distances

  • difficult installation conditions.

7. Furniture Hire Period

Unless otherwise stated in writing, the minimum styling hire period is six (6) weeks.

If the Client requires an extension beyond the initial hire period, additional hire fees will apply and will be  invoiced weekly.

If the property sells before the completion of the minimum hire period, no refunds or discounts will be provided for the unused time.

8. Care of Furniture & Styling Items

All furniture and styling items remain the property of STYLD Melbourne.

While installed at the Premises, the Client is responsible for ensuring that:

  • items are not moved

  • items are not removed from the property

  • items are protected from damage.

The Client is responsible for the full replacement cost of any damaged, lost or stolen items during the hire period.

9. Wall Fixtures

Some styling items such as artwork or mirrors will require nails or wall hooks for safe installation.

The Client acknowledges that minor wall holes or marks may occur and agrees that STYLD Melbourne is not responsible for repairing these marks.

10. Delivery & Installation Delays

Installation times are estimates only.

STYLD Melbourne is not responsible for delays caused by:

  • builders or tradespeople

  • settlement delays

  • third-party suppliers

  • events outside reasonable control.

Where installation delays occur due to the Client or third parties, additional storage, rescheduling or transport fees may apply.

11. Cancellations

If a Client cancels the project:

More than 48 hours before installation

Administrative or preparation costs may apply.

Within 48 hours of installation or after installation

The Client may be liable for up to 50% of the total styling fee.

Payments are generally non-refundable once a project has been confirmed.

12. Liability

STYLD Melbourne excludes liability for any loss, injury, damage or death arising from the use or presence of styling furniture or décor items at the Premises.

The Client indemnifies STYLD Melbourne against claims made by occupants, visitors, agents or prospective buyers arising from the presence or use of styling items.

13. Photography & Marketing

STYLD Melbourne retains the right to photograph the styled property for portfolio and marketing purposes, including use on:

  • websites

  • social media

  • advertising

  • marketing materials.

The Client agrees to provide reasonable access for photography before or after installation.

Personal client details will not be disclosed.

14. Intellectual Property

All styling concepts, documents, layouts and visual materials produced by STYLD Melbourne remain the intellectual property of STYLD Melbourne.

These materials must not be reproduced, distributed or used without written consent.

​

15. Changes to Terms

STYLD Melbourne reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.

The latest version will apply to all future bookings.

These Terms and Conditions form part of the agreement between STYLD Melbourne, a business operated by R&P Venture Group Pty Ltd (ABN 29 692 542 644) (“STYLD Melbourne”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), and the client (“Client”, “you”, or “your”).

By accepting a quotation, confirming a booking, or making payment, the Client acknowledges and agrees to these Terms and Conditions.
